Savage Deadlands: The Flood

Session 1: Friday September 5th 1879 - Friday September 12th 1879
Hellestromes Wild Ride

The posse begins their journey on a Smith & Robards train heading west over the Sierra Nevadas. Why they’re on board is up to them. Fate decides to jump their track and the train wrecks. Surviving an attack by Old Ways Apache, the travelers discover the train wrecked because of a massive cave-in, which miraculously leads to a train tunnel going straight under the Sierra Nevadas and most of California.

At the end of the tunnel is a Wasatch railroad digging crew—complete with a wondrous digging machine called the Hellbore. They soon discover that the crew is accompanied by Lacy O’Malley, intrepid reporter for the Tombstone Epitaph. And they meet Dr. Darius Hellstromme himself!

The team bonds with the Wasatch crew when they’re all attacked by ravenous tunnel critters.

Session 2: Saturday September 13th 1879
Out with a BOOM!

Friedeldorf The Mad

I am not one for words. My hands are bloodied from battle. But so is my tunic. My companions stare at me like i am nothing more but an animal. But at least i’m not dead like Definitely’s bear! Today we head north along the maze. I hope that i can achieve my goals in the end. Tejuani would be very upset if she was kept waiting..

Session 3: Saturday September 13th - Friday September 19th 1879
Enter Shan Fan

Friedeldorf the Mad

Our boat docked with the port of Shan Fran… ha. Ken knows a thing or two about docking. The disfigured one stayed behind with the boat as we entered the town. This shirt is looking more dashing every day i hold it. Ken says that he will get a good price and i hope so because he promised me money and that is something i need. This rifle is so smooth but very small in my hands. My chubby fingers can barely fire it. That puny man that hurt me can barely stand the thought of me using his rifle…ha! Get it? Ah whatever. These asian people are even smaller than these people i call friends. One day though i won’t need them as much. When that day comes… Tejuani…. I am coming…

Session 4: Friday September 19th - Saturday 20th 1879

End to the Great Rail Wars

By. Lacy O’Malley

The great rail wars has finally come to an end and had a decisive Victor – Dr. Darius Hellestromme and the Wasatch Rail. He rolled the first train and tracks to the city of Lost Angels where the Angels of Lost Angels, Dixie Rails & Bayou Vermillion, and Union Blue and Black River had already assembled. The tension was thick as steel and it was bursting to blow anyway, but a shot fired from Dixie Rails began the war as it barreled into Hellestromme. All hell broke loose as the 4 sides went to a hell is war.

There was no clear Victor until airships came in and dropped massive bombs on the battlefield, devastating all sides but forcing both the north and south to retreat while Reverend Grimme and the City of Lost Angels had to come to terms with Hellestromme and Wasatch. Your Lacy O’Malley was there and he can attest that any man would have surrendered after seeing weapons of such mass destruction.

It seems in all ways the great war is over, and the maze is starting to recover from the devastation. The Ore Collection Station #37 has become the hotbed of business growing up right outside of Lost Angels. This little boomtown has been given a new name, Perdition. It is unclear what will become but it seems like business is more or less going to be the same in The Maze.
